We’re a small team of software engineers and algorithm developers running a student trading club. Our goal is to promote education in the quantitative trading space and bring together highly skilled individuals to create a community of growth.

Outside of community events, we run a trading shop based out of Waterloo, hence our name “Grand River” Trading. We run trading strategies using Rust, C++ and Python. We are always on the lookout for new talent, so if you’ve ever been interested in quantitative trading and wanted to try it out, consider applying! • Direct Exchange Connections. By pooling our resources we are able to have direct feeds from exchanges as well as exclusive API trading access!

• Automated backtesting systems. We have built out a rigorous backtesting system that can run locally and in the cloud.

• Trading devkits. We’ve written our own devkit in C++ so you can test your strategies with minimal effort.
